Bete Grise

Bete Grise is a self-described psychedelic alt-country project rooted in the haunting beauty of Upper Michigan, further shaped by cross country travels and life on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Featuring the strong songwriting of Solomon Kronberg, this Chimacum-based quartet weaves together dreamlike narratives about heartbreak, change, relationships and the search for home. The group released its first album in June after sessions at Port Townsend’s Rainshadow Recording Studio.

Bete Grise returns to the studio this Spring to work on their first LP! The eleven-song project will feature unreleased tunes folks may recognize from the band’s performances, as well as previously unheard songs. If you’ve enjoyed Bete Grise’s live shows or debut EP, please consider donating to the album fund.
